Paros has been a nautical force since ancient times… hence its association with sailing could be well be considered a foregone conclusion.
The YCP (Yacht Club of Paros) was founded by a group of people with a vision and love for the sea and the island. The Club has been in operation since 1992. It is a registered and active member of the Hellenic Sailing Federation and the Hellenic Swimming Federation. The Club is based in Livadia near Parikia and offers the following activities:
The entire island wholeheartedly welcomed the Club from the outset and energetically supports its activities. Looking to the future, we hope the Club will help establish the island as a training and sailing center both in Greece and the greater Mediterranean region.

- Sports (swimming, triangle open water dinghy sailing, beach volleyball, racquetball),
- Culture (museum and shipyard visits, special events)
