Public Transportation
Paros has one of the best network of roads and public transportation in the Cyclades.
The KTEL buses serve visitors and permanent residents with a variety of routes and vehicles. All villages are linked both to each other and the two large towns of the island, Parikia and Naoussa, all year round.
In summer months the routes, particularly to Naoussa, continue through the early hours of the morning, with more frequent routes to and from the port.
The main KTEL routes include:
- Parikia > Kostos > Lefkes > Prodromos > Marpissa > Piso Livadi > Logaras > Pounta (Beach) > Chryssi Akti > Drios and back to Parikia
- Parikia > Aliki > Parikia
- Parikia > Naoussa > Parikia
- Parikia > Naoussa > Prodromos > Marpissa > Piso Livadi > Logaras > Pounta (Beach) > Chryssi Akti > Drios and back to Parikia
Information on routes to smaller settlements (e.g. Kamares, Aspro Chorio, Voutakos etc.) can be found at the bus stations.
KTEL bus stations are located centrally in every town and village of the island so as to best serve travelers. Bus stops can be found in the main square or entrance to villages, while the Parikia KTEL station is situated next to the port.
